Yes, retires from all forms
of cricket. Man tears my friend,

So, if you have watched the last
Wankhede match, I mean the last
mighty Sachin Tendulkar's match,
till the very end of the presentation
ceremony WITHOUT running out your
tears stock , then you my friend,
you need some serious medical help.
And his video is not for you.
Close the damn window or tab
and go watch some porn.
This video isn't for you.
But if you do fall in the
second category of people where
you did cry like a 5 year old baby,
then we got something very
common to talk about.

So the Sachin Tendulkar's era
is officially over!
Right, no more newspaper
cuttings, no more customised
collages, no more the good old
Power and MRF signed bats. No
more the same Adidas. One man
who changed the lifes of
90s generation. I am 21, and
I have literally, like effing
literally grown up watching
this little master being the
badass 19 yeard old little beast.
No offence to the elder though,
but the Sachin Tendulkar thing,
is impeccable. I don't know
what to call that special
bond so I will call it
"the thing" as of now.
So that "thing" for us
was a LOT more than just
a cricketer called Sachin Tendulkar
You know what I mean? We were
like 4-5 years old and we
always wanted to be the
Sachin Tendulkar. We didn't
know anything besides the "Thing"
of becoming Sachin Tendulkar.
We never wanted to be the
next Sachin Tendulkar, we always
wanted to be "THE Sachin Tendulkar"!
That's how epic "the Thing" was.
And that's how epic Sachin
Tendulkar is and he'll be. Forever.

There are many great Indian
cricketers besides Sachin Tendulkar.
And there'll be many more greats
on their way. But I have
absolute no idea on what
made it so special with this
man. My other favourites retired
from the sport quite some years
ago. VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid,
Anil Kumble and every bong boys
proud favourite Sourav Ganguly.
But sadly, this era had to end.
And boy it ended in style.

I only wish if my other four
favourites got a little something
of this grand in their farewells.
That would have completed my
21 years of witnessing epic
sports farewells.But we can't
undo certain things.
There is no Control+Z in
real life. Stuff happens,
we learn from it. We move on.

But dear Sachin Tendulkar(sir),
thank you for showing us
that there is nothing impossible.
Thank You for teaching us
the strength of simplicity
and humbleness. And
Thank you for making us believe.

We will miss you. Forever...`
