Jake Ball ruled out of Royal London One Day Cup final and first England Test against South Africa
Nottinghamshire have suffered a setback as they plan for Saturday's Royal London One Day Cup final with the news Jake Ball will miss the match through injury.
Pace bowler Ball has been sidelined with a knee strain and he will miss the showpiece occasion against Surrey at Lord's.
And the 26-year-old has also been ruled out of England's first Test of the summer against South Africa, which starts next Thursday (July 6).
